Let's be kind
Colossians 3:12
"Therefore as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourself with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
I was thinking about what I was going to post for this week, until I came across this little article on facebook. It was mentioning how being nice to strangers is actually quite healthy for you, being Kind acts as a trigger that releases oxytocin, which helps dilate the blood vessels, which then reduces blood pressure. It also mentioned how other studies reveal that being kind causes less social anxiety and it causes better relationship satisfaction. As I was reading this I felt a little convicted because I remember how much the bible stresses kindness, so I had to evaluate myself to see if I achieved that standard of "kindness". Don't get me wrong I try my hardest to be nice, but there are certain areas I need work on, I then started to think about how the other day a random lady came up to me trying to talk to me while I was at the train station, and I found it awkward, but she was bringing up how she was raised to be kind and say "hi" to strangers. I guess I was stuck to societies modern behavior of strangers. Reading this was a nudge to me, so I went looked at bible verses on kindness, and came across this Verse in Colossians. God calls us to clothe ourself in compassion. Now you already know that when we begin to do that the stems of kindness, humility, gentleness and patience begins to sprout. Overall, hope this blog encourages us to be kind to one another.

The End is Near!!!
Matthew 24: 4-8
4 Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. 6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains.
So lately I have been coming across a couple of articles and videos while I was just scrolling through Facebook. To be honest at first I didn't want to believe but I had to come to the conclusion that the writing is literally on the wall and yield to the fact that Jesus is coming soon and, this word is prophetical. I have been hearing so much rumors of war. I have been hearing all this mumbo jumbo about the Ukraine and how this could lead off into a potential world war 4, as much as this scared the snot out of me I maintained to keep my composure. I have been hearing of nations rising against nations, Kingdoms against kingdom. Civilians in the Ukraine rioting and protesting against Russia, Riots and protests in the middle east, and honestly coming to our surprise, even in the United States our very own home. We have heard of many earthquakes; true or not I came across an article talking about a mega earthquake. Famines in various countries. If we really sat down to slow down our lives and evaluate what's going on in the world we can come down to the conclusion that maybe God's word is to be token into consideration?

Persia and Medes takes over
Taking a look the book of Daniel and Chapter 5
After the death of King Nebuchadnezzar, his "son" Belshazzar took over the kingdom. Now during this time King Belshazzar was feasting with his royal subjects when he then orders for them to bring the gold and silver goblets that his father Nebuchadnezzar had took from the temple in Jerusalem. Now as Belshazzar is feasting with the nobles and the officials they are worshiping their pagan gods of gold and sliver. Soon there is a hand that appears and starts to write on the plaster on the wall, but no one understand what is happening, being written, and can no one decipher it. Belshazzar's magicians, enchanters, astrologers, and diviners couldn't even decipher this message, but they knew Daniel could so they sent for Daniel. Long story short, Daniel ends up deciphering the message and lets Belshazzar know that God is telling him he will be murdered later that night for the very fact that Belshazzar knew all that his father Nebuchadnezzar had done yet still fear and revered God but Belshazzar never once did that. It's funny to say that very night the Kingdom of Babylon was overthrown and Persia and Medes became the new power in charge. History backs this up Because in 539 B.C. Persia and Medes overthrows Babylon.
