Stop Gossiping!!!

Proverbs 26:20 "Without wood a fire goes out; without a gossip a quarrel dies down." Proverbs 26:22 "The words of a gossip are like choice morsels; they go down to the inmost parts." If you have seen the movie The Nutty Professor you are probably familiar with the phrase "women be shoppin', well I made my own version and said "People be talkin'. You ever have someone tell you someone else's business and in your heart you know you are not supposed to be egging on their gossip but the information that you didn't know is so juicy you proceed on to listen? Don't get me wrong, sometimes we'll gossip and not even know it. Now but See the thing about knowing that juicy information is it can also harm some people because some folks will gossip out of jealousy, hate, pride, and some folks will use gossip to defame one's status. Say you didn't know you're friend Jimmy was secretly a thief, and all this time you thought he was a model student until Richard told you Jimmy robs people's stuff when they invite him over to their house. Now you over here treating Jimmy like a thief. I like how this verse refers to fire and wood because the more wood you add to a fire the bigger the flame goes up and the more gossip Richard continues to add on about Jimmy you come down to the point you hate Jimmy. On the sidenote Jimmy was one of your best friends too. I had was sitting around a couple of folks and they were talking about someone's personal business and one of them stood up and said "let's not gossip", it shocked me because I wouldn't even say that in a situation like that, and it also served as a conviction in telling me to stand up. Gossip is harmful and dangerous and until we stop putting wood in the flame it's going to coninue burning reputations and friendships, and status' of people. (Leviticus 19:16, Proverbs 11:13, Proverbs 20:19, Jeremiah 9:4)

Laziness

Proverbs 26:13-16 " The lazy person claims "There's a lion on the road! Yes I'm sure there's a lion out there!" As the door swings back and forth on its hinges so the lazy person turns over in bed. Lazy people take food in their hand but don't even lift it to their mouth. Lazy people consider themselves smarter than seven wise counselors." Now this is a common issue, Laziness. A lot of folks struggle with this because don't get me wrong, it is as a wise man said "You never get thoughts of doubt when it's time to sit down on your couch and watch netflix all day, but you do when it's time to work", and to be honest when the person said this to me it hit me like a ton of bricks because it's so true. Now in verse thirteen the lazy person is making an excuse about there being a lion outside that is one reason why they won't do the work. Don't get me wrong and I take full blame for it too but when that laziness hits you will search the ends of the earth for an excuse for your laziness. Now in my bible it gives a description of laziness, it says "the less you do the less you want to do" and that's the best description for verse 15 because how much times have you ever received "a hook up" but you said to yourself "ehh I got time to do it"? There would be instances, say for example your mother told you to clean your room and she hands you the utensils and you never to the job. And don't get me wrong alot of the times we will never see how much laziness is effecting us and harming us. You ever meet that kid in school who is wicked smart but just never tries then at the end of the term states "I only failed because I never tried"? I found it kind of funny how much this verse spoke to me.

Passing False Judgement

Proverbs 24:23 "It is wrong to show favoritism when passing judgement. A judge who says to the wicked, You are innocent." will be cursed by many people and denounced by the nations." To be honest I came across this bible verse during my morning devotional and thought to myself "wow isn't God's word the truth?" Now i brought this verse up to shed to light on the many occasions that these Federal Judges a lot bad cops to get away with police brutality and having murdered someone. Now it's coincidental how this verse specifically says that "it's wrong to show favoritism when passing judgement"; now a days folks cast judgement and do it in terms of trying to please someone rather than trying to do the right thing. Now the verse continues to say "a judge who says to the wicked you are innocent will be cursed by many people and denounced by the nations" and it's funny because you look at the Mike Brown and Trayvon Martin issues where they let these cops off for murder and police brutality, a lot of people rioted, and a lot of people lost their faith in these people that are "sworn to protect our lives". It's actually kind of funny because I was watching the news and it mentioned how cops are trying to earn their positive image back with citizens and folks in California by pulling people over when acts of goodness are committed and offering them coupons for free pizza. Don't give me free pizza, GIVE ME JUSTICE! Free Pizza isn't going to pay the medical bills of the folks that are being abused and free pizza isn't bringing those dead folks back to life.

Marriage Issues

Hey guys it's me again on another blog, and this time around I wanted to discuss a topic not too many people are very familiar about. The topic is related to marriage issues. We live in a common generation where everyone has the desire to be in a relationship with someone, and eventually be married. But alot of people go ahead and get married but are not familiar with the fact marriage is a covenant being token before God. Marriage is promise being made before God until death does the two of you apart (1 Corinthians 7:39, Romans 7:1-3). Now alot of folks will be brand new in a relationship and of course the relationship seems strong at first but over the course you two get used to each other and then don't desire to practice 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 anymore. One major issue right now in marriages is divorce. Yep the big "D" word. Now according to some statistics about 40-50% of Americans divorce. Alot of folks don't recognize the pledge they have made before God therefore sabotage the oath that they took on that faithful day( Mark 10:11-12, 1 corinthians 7:27-28). Another issue is gender roles in marriages,(Ephesians 5:22-24, 1 timothy 3:1-7) Women are supposed to submit to their husbands authority role just as much as men are to be willing to lay their lives down for their family. It's never a one person does this and that person does that, but in this generation that's what we are preaching to the youth. We need to start raising some of the new generation on a bible based foundation because I personally believe this is the word of God and it holds answers to alot of things that we are neglecting.

Beware of False Doctrines!

Colassian 2:6-10 So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, 7 rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. 8 See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ. 9 For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, 10 and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority. Now we live in a generation where there are many many doctrines being preached, and I just wanted to write this article to shed light that some of you folks need to be careful with what kind of doctrine you are receiving. Now a days even in the church there are doctrines rising up that are not even biblical or that verse is conscewed and misinterpreted by mans' understanding and not the holy spirits' guidance. The bible calls us to test some of these people's doctrines and that's where we must make sure we know our word. We need to make sure we are so biblically founded that we would be swift to recognize error in one's genealogical proclamations. The word of God states that the enemy will plant his agents in the church to fulfill the will of the enemy (2 corinthians 11:13-15, 2 Peter 2:1-3)so we need to be careful.

NBC Predicts RFID Chips in 2017!!!

Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six." Hey What's up everybody. I am back on the scene. I know I haven't blogged in a while but I'm back at it and before I kick it off I just want to brush up on some new information I had received; so NBC news has just recently predicted that by 2017 there will be chips that will begin to be installed into human beings according to H.R. 4872 also known as the ObamaCare system. Now this device will be able to control our money and our food. I found this article kind of creepy because it was predicted by NBC, a very reliable News network we keep up with. This also brought the verse Revelation 13:16-18 up in my mind because, the actions and force that is being token place in implementing these rules seems that of an Anti-Christ figure. Now don't get me wrong you read the article for yourself and you discern what you need to discern. But the word of God remains prevalent, this is something that is going to be pushed on everybody. Now remember I stated this thing will control both money and food and the scripture verse says that "you can not buy nor sell without this "mark". God Does Not Hate Gay People.

Now for the longest time especially the past week I've been hearing "God hates gay people" and it enticed me to want to do this blog I didn't know how to word myself precisely enough to not offend anybody so I did some research and came across an article from a website. I will post up the link and what they have said. These are not my words, so I'm going to give all the credit to the writer.

There is a "church" in the United States that promotes the slogan "God hates fags!" This group pickets gay parades, gay bars, gay events, etc. This group has even picketed the funerals of gay people, shouting to the attendees that the gay person is now burning in hell for being a "fag." On its website, this group has a counter which updates daily how long a certain gay person has supposedly been in hell. Recently, the "God hates fags" group has begun protesting at military funerals, claiming that the soldier was killed because the USA is supporting the homosexual agenda. Is there any truth to their claims? Proverbs 6:16-19 tells us, "There are six things the LORD hates, seven that are detestable to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a man who stirs up dissension among brothers." Notice that homosexuality does not make this list. It would be more biblical to promote phrases such as "God hates liars" and "God hates murderers." In fact, the Bible nowhere directly states that God hates homosexuals. That does not mean that the Bible approves of homosexuality. The Bible consistently tells us that homosexuality is a sin (Genesis 19:1-13;Leviticus 18:22;Romans 1:26-27;1 Corinthians 6:9). Homosexuality is described as an abomination. Romans 1:26-27teaches explicitly that homosexuality is a result of a continual rebellion against God. When people continue in disbelief, the Bible tells us that God “gives them over,” allowing them to experience their sinful desires and the resulting consequences. First Corinthians 6:9 proclaims that homosexuals will not inherit the kingdom of God. Homosexuality is immoral and unnatural. It is a perversion of the "natural order" and, more importantly, of God's view of sex. With all that said, the Bible does not describe homosexuality as a greater sin than any other. All sin is offensive to God. Homosexuality is just one of the many things listed in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 that will keep a person from the kingdom of God. According to the Bible, God’s forgiveness is just as available to a homosexual as it is to an adulterer, idol worshipper, murderer, thief, etc. God also promises the strength for victory over sin, including homosexuality, to all those who will believe in Jesus Christ for their salvation (1 Corinthians 6:11;2 Corinthians 5:17). While the Bible declares that God hates all workers of iniquity(Psalm 5:5), the Bible nowhere singles out homosexuals as objects of God's hatred. Does God approve of homosexuality? Absolutely not. Can a person truly be a Christian and at the same time a practicing homosexual? No (1 Corinthians 6:9). While the "God hates fags" group is correct in proclaiming that homosexuality is sin, it fails miserably in the tone of its proclamation. Ephesians 4:15 instructs us to "speak the truth...in love."First Peter 3:15 teaches us to proclaim the truth, but to do so with "gentleness and respect." We must uphold the truth of God's Word in proclaiming the sinfulness of homosexuality. However, we must uphold this truth in a loving, gentle, and respectful manner. We must warn homosexuals about the eternal dangers of continued rebellion against God. At the same time, our message should be focused on the forgiveness and freedom from sin that are available through the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Bible Does not degrade women

1 Peter 3:7

"Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers."
Now this topic was something hard for me to do because I didn't have the proper scripture but glory be to God he hooked me up. I always hear all this mumbo jumbo about "the bible is flawed because it degrades women". Actually the bible never degraded women. When Paul refers to females as the "weaker vessel" he's mentioning the fact that it was the woman that fell to the snake(satan) and not the man(1 timothy 2:14) but at the same time he calls her a partner. Alot of people whom I've come across discussions with have mentioned "well in the earlier days woman were always mistreated and abused, raped, etc." but honestly you have to come down to the conclusion and realize that alot of those bad things happened due to the sinful nature that resides in mankind. It's like saying I'm a christian and all and the bible tells me not to kill but I just went ahead and killed someone for making me angry. The blame shouldn't fall on the word of God, if anything God says that 1.Numbers 23:19 "I'm not like man whom I should lie" and 2. Psalm 119:89 " God's word remains eternal". At the end of the day his word remains the truth, whole truth, and nothing but the truth. Now as we proceed on with the verse we notice it says "treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as HEIRS WITH YOU of the gracious gift of life". We look at Galatians 3:28 and it mentions that heavens for anyone whom is in Christ. At the same time though we need to respect the fact that God calls men to be the head, the authoritative role Ephesians 5:23 so men have more responsibility on their hands Ephesians 5:25. It's like comparing it to our government, our government is based on a democracy mostly focusing on us the people, but at the end of the day the president, or the house of reps.,etc. are the authoritative figures. Also Men are to love their wives as the weaker vessel because (emotionally speaking) women are the "weaker vessel", and are to be treated with understanding and respect. For pete sakes they use more emotion than a man therefore it's a mans duty to shower her with this loving care.

I don't even need to elaborate that much on this bible verse because it speaks for itself. How many times have you looked at someone like they were the most disgusting scum of the earth because they didn't know how to be loyal. Matter fact let's take this to the perspective of relationships. You going to stay in a relationship with an un-loyal jerk? I find it funny that this proverb says it's better to be poor than to be dishonest. To be honest(pun) as I write this blog I'm thinking about this Youtube video I was watching where it showed this guy video taping himself going up to people asking them for money, and the same poor, old, "bum" that everyone was neglecting shared his McDonalds/Burger King/Sandwich with him because he was hungry. I shake my head to see how people are not loyal anymore. I had one friend who said to me " I don't do stuff for people in expectation of something back because man will always fail you, I do stuff for people because I want to". These wise words were encouraging to me because it started to me put less limits on doing things, and being loyal to people. Nevertheless let's work hard to achieve loyalty.

Don't abandon your parents

Proverbs 30:11-12
 "Some people curse their father and do not thank their mother. The are pure in their own eyes, but they are filthy and unwashed."
Proverbs 19: 26
" Children who mistreat their father or chase away their mother are an embarrassment and a public disgrace."


To be honest. Lately I've been noticing how this new generation of kids who are growing up to dishonor and disrespect their parents. Now don't get me wrong I once was in those shoes, but I had check myself before I wrecked myself. I've come across a lot of kids whom grew up without their fathers in their lives and when they became older they'll never appreciate their father(if they were to come across him) and due to that lack of father figure they were never taught how to treat a woman so they don't know how to properly thank their mothers. There are many ways we can thank our mother than some verbal complementation. There is this one saying an old ex- girl friend of mine said to me. She said "how you're are going to treat your wife is how you treat your mother". Talk about reality check? I had to take a pause on my life real quick and do a rewind. Now I don't want my kids(the lord willing) to take after these bad attributes. At the end of the day while I was pursuing this blind path into darkness I thought I had it well, but behind the scenes my family members were looking at me like the number one disgrace of the family. I had to pull a bob the builder and re-construct my attitude and my character first to my mother, and my father even though he isn't in my life. Word is let's adhere to these proverbs because at the end of the day we are not trying to live these immoral lifestyles where(take it from me) isn't cute.
